Seppy - part of the duo Deuxes - added: “The young people in our city have bags of talent, but just need the push to really take it seriously! Knowing that I’m able to do that for someone else is really exciting and I can’t wait to see what comes from being part of this!”

There is said to be ‘loads of great talent coming in’ so far but there is a final push to get more young people involved with the project which has positive messaging at its core.

Those interested should record a short video or audio clip of themselves and upload it to YouTube or other similar platform.

A panel of expert judges will decide which contestants go through to the next stage.

If successful, they will record their tracks in a professional studio and showcase their talents at a live ‘push’ event from Hope Works, after which a winner will be selected.
