Sheffield pub’s seven new reopening rules - including leaving name, email and phone number

The Stag at Woodhouse has unveiled a long list of rules that customers will have to adhere to when pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes re-open this weekend following the easing of coronavirus lockdown restrictions.

A post on the pub's Facebook page said: “Things will be a lot different, as I have worked hard in lockdown by redecorating inside and outside.

“On entering you will need to fill in a blank slip of paper with your name, email and phone number. This is a legal government requirement. Your data is of the upmost importance and will be protected. You must hand in at the bar were it will be placed in a box and destroyed after four weeks.

“Hand sanitizer will be in the entrance area.

“You will need to walk right into the pub, only one bar will be open.

“Card payments will be preferred, but we will be taking cash payments.

“Only plastic glasses will be used for now. Bins will be placed around to put glasses into.

“Toilets will be one in one out and checked regularly by staff.

“There will be no bar stools at the bar or standing, once you have been served please take a seat.

“Don’t forget no children are allowed on the premises and this also includes the beer garden.”
