All animals looking for a new home have special requirements individual to each pet, and information on this can be found on the RSPCA website here. Here are the furry friends that could make the perfect addition to your family this Christmas.
5. Tilly and Tabby
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Crossbreed
Colour: Various
Age: 6-12 months Tilly and Tabby came into RSPCA care when their owner could no longer look after them. Upon arrival they were very frightened and unsure and were not afraid to show if they were unhappy with a cheeky grumble or hiss. The RSPCA got to work building up their confidence and trust and now a little while later we feel they are ready to find their forever home. Both of these youngsters can still be quite wary of new people and situations but have started to build up a bond and trust with their carers. Tilly and Tabby really do rely on each other for support and so are looking for a patient and understanding home together where any children are secondary school age and over to better understand their nervous nature and needs. 6. Ghost
Breed: Crossbreed / Unknown
Colour: Brindle
Age: Approximately 2 years This is Ghost, who sadly had to come to the RSPCA after his owner could no longer keep him. The RSPCA are looking for a very special home for him as he needs humans that have had experience with fearful and reactive dogs. When Ghost knows you and is comfortable he is the most cuddly and goofy boy but he is really quite fearful and unsure of strangers. He needs his new family to be able to support and help him with his worries without added pressures. When he is settled, Ghost loves nothing more than being with you. Either having a cuddle, a play, a walk, an adventure - anything really! Photo: RSPCA
