Sheffield 'one of most popular places' outside London to buy a house

It seems the charms of Sheffield aren’t lost on homebuyers after the city was revealed as one of the most popular places to buy a house outside of London.

According to new stats, Sheffield was the fifth most-searched for area outside the capital for buyers on Rightmove in 2019.

The top 10 searches in order were Bristol, York, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Cambridge, Manchester, Norwich, Birmingham and Nottingham.
