‘Absinthe’ was produced by Chanel’s friend, Tom Auton and close childhood companion, Joey O’Connell filmed the music video while social distancing.

"There's no big crew of people involved, it's literally just me and my friend in my hometown and I think it's beautiful to have that”, Chanel said.

"It's beautiful to have that connection with the place you grew up and it's just really nice to have it like that.

"It's lovely to see the process of making music for the love of making music for everyone to enjoy."

The dance hit which was inspired by the sounds of The Chainsmokers and Halsey hopes to remind listeners of summer holidays – a treat they are unlikely to experience this year due to Covid-19.
