She claims to have stored the cartons in the fridge straightaway after she came back from shopping.

"I was traumatised when I realised not going to lie, it was kind of the last thing I expected to see to be honest”, Cee Cee said.

"I just didn't expect to see mould in the juice and that made me concerned that my daughter has been drinking it and wondering if she's ok.

"The current climate with coronavirus really added to my anxiety because I am a funny person anyway when it comes to cleanliness and germs.”

The 28-year-old now vows never to shop with Aldi again because she was unhappy with their response was to her complaint after she found the lumps of dark blue and black mould floating in the juice.

"They can't really help me now because I won't be going back there to shop and they have kind of shut down any resolution now with the emails that they sent about moving forward”, she added.

"I would rather them just recall the juices that have been sold and at least then other people are safe as well.”

An Aldi spokesperson said: “Although very rare, incidents like this can occasionally occur if packaging is damaged at any point before the product is consumed, as the contents may be exposed to air.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused Ms Taylor and would ask her return the product packaging to store for a full refund.”
