The latest advice to people with possible coronavirus symptoms, including a high temperature or a new, continuous cough is to stay at home for seven days or if they live with other people for the whole household to self-isolate for 14 days from the day the first person got symptoms.

If you live with someone who is 70 or over, has a long-term condition, is pregnant or has a weakened immune system, you are advised to try to find them somewhere else to stay for 14 days.
