An Nasiha, who are a community based voluntary sector organisation which helps disadvantaged people and helps others reinstate their connection with Islam. Founded in 2011 and run by Sheffield students, the organisation does considerable work to support local charities and local people.

Every year An Nasiha mark the month of Ramadan by raising funds for important local causes, and this year, they have chosen to support Sheffield Hospitals Charity’s ‘Secret Garden’ appeal. The project will see a tranquil peace garden being built at the Northern General Hospital to give staff and patients access to outdoor space away from busy wards to relax and reflect. It is designed to support the mental wellbeing of staff and patients, and that is a cause close to the hearts of An Nasiha.

Ramadan is month of fasting and prayer, observed by Muslims worldwide. It also about reflection and community and An Nasiha want to take this opportunity to raise awareness of Ramadan and support worthy causes.
