Sheffield’s Dialogue Society, is just one group that is reaching out to individuals who may need help.

They are offering to do shopping and deliver medicine for residents, but say they are not tied to these tasks alone.

Mehmet Acar, branch manager of Sheffield Dialogue Society, said: “Any other thing that you can think of, please do let me know and we will try our best to help you.”

He explained: “As the whole humanity, we are going through very strange and hard times. Every single person has an important role in this battle against the coronavirus. This varies from staying at home to putting yourself to the front line as the incredible NHS staff do everyday. This important role also includes offering your voluntary help and support to the ones in need.”
