Sheffield church minister gets a full ‘Kojak cut’ and donates her locks for charity

Brave Rev Maud Robinson of Underbank Unitarian Chapel in Stannington has taken the plunge and had her luscious locks clipped to make wigs for children who have lost their hair for cancer.

Rev Robinson said: “I’ve raised the £1,000 for the Trust and I promised if I reached my target I would shave my head.

“So I bit the bullet and the bullet and had it all chopped off. I just hope it grows back fast.

She has donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust which works with children who have lost their own hair during treatment for the disease.

She added: "I decided to make a public spectacle of myself by having it done outside the chapel after the noon service on Sunday.

“So if you have a couple of quid to spare, help me make my bad-hair-days-to-come worthwhile.”

Her fundraising total has reached £1,328.68 + £171.50 Gift Aid
