It is thought there are around 10,000 Chinese nationals currently living in Sheffield.

The Chinese New Year is based on the Lunar calendar, as opposed to the traditional Georgian calendar used in most countries across the world.

The Chinese New Year 2021 animal is the Ox.

Each year has an animal sign in the Chinese Zodiac, which is based on the Moon and has a 12-year cycle.
