Charities, traders and Lego enthusiasts were all present at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre on Saturday (September 12) for the return of the popular brick festival.
The touring event travels across the country, offering people the chance to show off their greatest creations, buy rare sets, or simply enjoy playing with everybody’s favourite toy.
In Sheffield this year, a group of Star Wars cosplayers known as the Mos Eisley Misfits showed up in hopes of raising funds for the charity 2wish, who support people suffering with the sudden loss of a child.
Meanwhile, Sheffield-based Andrew Redfern ran a stall to sell his unique history book Minifigure Monarchs.
The ‘labour of love’ was funded through Kickstarter and sees some of Britain’s most important historical moments recreated in Lego.
