Sheffield boxing gym to host charity event featuring heavyweight icon Frank Bruno
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Woodhouse boxing club, which has been raising funds for Sheffield Children's Hospital for the past five years, is hoping to raise more money for the hospital when it gets to host the event at the end of this year.
Owner Chris Medley said the hospital is in need of more funds as it has been badly hit by the ongoing pandemic which has forced many charity events to be shelved.

And this, he said, was the reason behind the event which he hoped could attract boxing enthusiasts as well as the general public.
"Frank Bruno is a big man in boxing and he's going to be there. He will be signing autographs, there will be an auction and the profits we make that night will go directly to the hospital."
He said the tickets have been on sale since Monday (March 29) and will go on until the day of the event on December 4.

"We have got two different kinds of tickets. The £60 one is where you will get a photo with him and he will sign it for you.
"The £45 one will include a meal of pie and pies. And you get to go to the after party as well."
He said the tickets went on sale months ahead as they would "like to raise as much money" for the hospital.
