Sheffield Beavers take part in library event

Youngsters took part in an event at Woodhouse Library – to test their reading and writing ability.

173rd. Woodhouse Beavers enjoyed an exciting day organised by Woodhouse Beaver Leaders and Woodhouse Library Volunteers.

Twenty four Woodhouse Beavers split into six teams each supervised by a Beaver Leader or a Library volunteer.

Each team earned points by solving clues to find specific books or articles, testing their observation skills and reading and writing ability.

The event also gave them experience of the pre-war library before it closes and moves to the new Hub under construction at the Stradbroke Road site of the former Tannery Respite Home.
