The Sheffield Santa Run 2019 got underway on Saturday December 21

Billed as a seasonably scarlet spectacle to warm even the coldest cockles of Scrooges' hearts, all participants of the annual event are given a Santa hat to wear as they run around Sheffield’s canal towpath to raise money for charity. Santa himself started the race in his sleigh and handed out free gifts to all the children.

It was all smiles for hundreds of Santas who took part in the annual Sheffield Santa Run
The Sheffield Santa Run is described as "totally family friendly, wheelchair friendly and pram friendly events; there is no time limit and it is enormous fun.”
