Popular Sheffield vegan restaurant closed after positive Covid test

A popular Sheffield vegan restaurant has been forced to close its doors to customers for a week after a team member tested positive for Covid-19.

Church - Temple of Fun on Rutland Way announced the news on their Instagram page on Monday (June 28).

The post read: "Unfortunately, due to a team member testing positive for Covid-19, we are closed from today.

"It is our highest priority to keep our customers and staff safe to prevent further spread of the virus. All bookings are cancelled for the next seven days, including tomorrow's football game.

"Keep an eye out for any emails from us, and deposit refunds.

"We are devastated this has happened as we geared up to celebrate World Pride Day and promise we will pick up where we left off."

The restaurant is home to Sheffield s first arcade bar and inspired by South American religious iconography, Church and has a fully vegan bar and street food kitchen.
