A large black pig named Broccoli gave birth to nine piglets at Heeley City Farm last weekend and a photograph of some of the litter has been released to mark the occasion.
In a tweet, Heeley City Farm said: “Broccoli the Large Black pig had nine piglets over the weekend!!
“They're doing great and loving their heat lamp.”
The working farm was set up in 1981 and provides green spaces in an urban area, education, employment and training opportunities.
It has grown into a popular visitor attraction and staff and volunteers work with young people, adults with learning disabilities and with local communities across Sheffield to promote regeneration, environmental education, energy efficiency and health and well-being.
Heeley City Farm, which has a range of animals including certified rare breeds, is open every day of the year except Christmas Day.
