Air Kings has closed down with immediate effect.

“We have been working hard behind the scenes in relation to lease terms and new agreements but unfortunately could not come to a solution to suit all parties.

“This has been an incredibly difficult decision to close but had the pleasure of seeing out the Christmas holidays.

“It has been an absolutely amazing experience working with such dedicated staff over the last four years and meeting so many loyal customers throughout this time.

“We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, existing bookings are being contacted to discuss options.”

Anyone with any questions is urged to contact [email protected] It said the firm’s Scunthorpe branch would continue to trade.

Since its opening, Air Kings has faced competition from both Go Bounce and Flip Out, both of which sprung up in its wake.

Back in 2016, the team behind Air Kings objected to plans by Go Bounce to open a site at Shaw Lane industrial estate, saying the the demand to sustain another business in such close proximity did not exist.
