TikTok has become the ultimate app to search for the best places to eat, allowing foodies to absorb quick 10-second reviews to get a feel for the types of cuisine and aesthetics on offer at any particular food venue.
The hashtag #restaurants on TikTok has over 772 million views, with users sharing videos of their experiences and recommendations for restaurants around the world.

Figures have revealed that Sheffield’s own Pom Kitchen has ranked as the sixth most popular restaurant in the UK outside of London. The independent vegan cafe, with a branch in both Sharrow Vale and Crookes, has raked in over 179,000 views on TikTok as diners have shared their dishes and drinks on social media.
Pom Kitchen first opened on Sharrow Vale Road in 2017, and its success led it to open a new branch in Crookes in August of last year.
Inside the venue with its minimalist and organic feel, it serves an Aussie-inspired vegan menu ranging from home baked treats to eye-popping colourful bagels filled with fresh ingredients.
