In a Facebook post, the centre said: “We’ve got some sad news to share.

“We’ve yet again become the victims of vandalism with damages looking to be around £2k with the hard work of our fantastic volunteers ruined overnight!

“If you know anyone who may be able to help with products for the re-build/or are able to support us please reach out!”

In April, South Yorkshire Police launched an investigation following a series of burglaries and vandalism attacks at Hesley Wood.

The latest attack now puts even more pressure on the popular centre which had to close its doors due to coronavirus.
