Passenger bids to track down Sheffield Wednesday fans she met on train to return clothing

Claire Carleton encountered the group of Owls supporters on a train following Saturday’s 3-1 over Charlton Athletic in London.

They were travelling back to Sheffield from London’s Euston station at about 6.40pm – but one of the group left an expensive item of clothing behind when the group got off the train.

She said: “I was heading to Liverpool and was chatting to Rob and his mates from Sheffield. They had been to the Charlton game, I have something belonging to them which I want to return.”
