The two-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier was taken in to RSPCA Sheffield around five weeks ago after his previous owner could no longer meet his needs but now, after being cared for by staff at the centre, he is ready for a new start.

Adam Spencer, of RSPCA Sheffield, said: “Fantastic Mr Timber who is a stunning fellow, is full of beans and life. This wonderful dog is now on the look out for his new family to give him the superstar lifestyle he deserves. An active, lively and intelligent boy, Timber puts his heart and soul into everything he does.

“He is looking for a home where he can have lots of mental and physical stimulation and exciting walks to help to develop his skills. He can’t wait to start his next life adventure.”

Timber is looking for a home where he is the the only dog in the home. However, once settled, he may also benefit from expanding his experiences around others dogs.

He does not like to be left on his own so he is also looking for a family where someone is around most of the time while he learns it is okay to be alone.

Furthermore, he is looking for a family with adults, and any children are secondary school age so that everyone can help with his training and daily care.

It is unknown how often Timber needs to be walked, but he does not have any health issues and enjoys eating James Wellbeloved Complete.
