The chain will shut the doors of its Fargate branch on March 15, according to posters in the store's windows.

But fashion conscious shoppers looking for a bargain need not worry – for the store is simply moving to new premises within the city centre.

And while it will reduce New Look’s number of stores in the city from four to three, the chain’s other branches will continue to trade.

One is at Crystal Peaks while the other is at Meadowhall.

Fargate has been hit by a number of store closures in recent weeks with the Yorkshire Bank announcing its departure earlier this week while Topshop and Topman will close this weekend.
