A man remains in hospital this morning after falling from a bridge in Sheffield.

Emergency services were called to the Sheffield Parkway on Monday after a man plunged from the bridge close to the exit for the city's wholesale markets.
He was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries and remains there this morning.
Vehicles using the busy dual carriageway avoided colliding with the injured man as he lay in the road.
The road was closed for a while as paramedics treated the man.
