Man dies after going into cardiac arrest on major road as air ambulance lands in field
A man sadly died after his heart stopped on a major road in Rotherham.

Paramedics and police were called to the A618 Pleasley Road in Whiston, Rotherham, yesterday, Sunday, October 25, at around 6pm, with an air ambulance seen landing in a nearby field.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Despite the best efforts of members of the public and emergency services to resuscitate him, the man, who was in his seventies, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious.”
