M1 traffic: Motorway to close to southbound traffic due to roadworks

Part of the M1 is to close tonight due to roadworks.

The southbound carriageway will be shut between junction 23a near East Midlands Airport and junction 23 between 11pm on Friday and 7am on Saturday.

Closer to Sheffield, drivers will not be able to use the southbound exit slip road at junction 29a near Bolsover between 8pm on Friday and 6am on Saturday. There will also be lane closures due to electrical work.
