But whilst everybody is settling in for another month at home, it’s important to remember that you’re not alone, none of us is.

And that’s why The Star has launched its new ‘Lockdown Conversations’ podcast, which will be running each and every day throughout lockdown, keeping you company, keeping you connected, and sharing your lockdown stories and experiences.

Host Nik Farah will be inviting a different local voice to take a seat on the virtual couch for as long as lockdown lasts – talking about Covid-19’s impact on your jobs, mental health, relationships, and life-changing events.

Today we kicked off our new series by welcoming Lee Semley to the show - an actor and theatre director from Barnsley, whose TV credits include Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

Lee, who founded LS Theatre Productions 12 years ago, chatted to us about how he’s been keeping theatre alive in lockdown, and finding positives to focus on, even whilst having to cancel his long-awaited September wedding.

Listen to the full episode above – and be sure to check back tomorrow for Day 2.

If you’d like to enjoy some online theatre entertainment throughout this second lockdown, be sure to visit LS Theatre Productions page on Facebook to keep up with all their online performances and virtual events.
