Here's how to get a FREE wine or beer at a pub in Sheffield this week

The Peacock, on Baslow Road, is offering a free drink between Monday 27 January and Friday 31 January, to raise a toast to the new management team.

General managers, Dean Silgram and Lucy Carman, are inviting locals to meet them and take a look around.

New to Sheffield, they are keen to welcome people to enjoy the beautifully decorated interiors, great food and drinks range the pub has to offer.

The pub also encourages guests to bring four-legged friends along too – with an open fireplace making it a perfect pitstop during a walk in the local area

Dean said: “Having recently moved from Brighouse with our daughter, Ivy, we are enjoying establishing our family in the heart of Sheffield, and are excited to welcome local people into The Peacock this week to get to know our neighbours better.”

Lucy continued: “The venue offers a relaxed, homely atmosphere whatever the occasion, so we want to invite our guests to enjoy our fantastic take on classic British food and carefully curated choice of fine wines and cask ales.

Participating drinks include: 175ml or 125ml glass of house red, white or rosé wine; 125ml glass of house prosecco; pint of Greene King cask ales; pint of Carling, Foster’s, Amstel or Pravha subject to availability; regular sized soft drink. The offer is subject to availability, available on a first-come, first-served basis. The promotion is strictly limited to one redemption per person.
