5. Bruce
Bruce is a Cane Corso Mastiff/American Bulldog cross and is one year and six months old. He has found the kennel environment quite stressful. He has a timid side but once he has bonded with you, he's very giddy and excitable. He would benefit from a home with owners who have experience of large breeds and dog training. He will need all basic training, including walking nicely on a lead, as he is incredibly strong. Bruce needs a home without children and no visiting children. He also needs a pet free home but could have walking doggy friends. Photo: Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

6. Violet
Violet is a four-year-old Shih Tzu with a history of fear aggression and will need a very understanding home to help with her behaviour. She is best suited to a household with ideally one person, who can provide a very routine environment for her, as in her previous home she struggled to bond with multiple people. She is good with other dogs but best suited to be the only pet in the home. Photo: Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

7. Gizzy
Gizzy is a nine-year-old French Bulldog. She is available to foster on medical grounds, where her medical costs will be covered by Thornberry Animal Sanctuary. Gizzy is a friendly little lady who will need to live within 10 miles of Thornberry so that she can visit the vets there when needed. She should be the only pet in the home but could live with children aged 14 and above. She has lived a sheltered life and really deserves love and affection with home comforts. 8. Freddie
Freddie is a Poodle/Pomeranian cross and is one year and nine months old. He is a complicated little character who would thrive in a home either with a single adult or maximum of two people. He is good with other dogs, but would prefer to be the only dog in the household. He is an affectionate boy once he has built up a relationship with you but has many worries in a home environment, including loud noises, visitors and sudden movements. We are searching for a very experienced home where Freddie can be provided with the care he needs. Photo: Thornberry Animal Sanctuary
