Mark Jenkinson & Son, of Norfolk Row, Sheffield city centre, moved the event online, from Sheffield United FC’s Bramall Lane stadium due, to follow government guidelines and to ‘ensure the “absolute priority” of staff, client and public safety during Covid-19.
The event saw 86 per cent of lots sold for a total of more than £1.5million. Notable results included a former council house in Stannington, which sold for £91,500 against a guide price of £58,000-plus, the former Durham Ox pub on Cricket Inn Road, which sold for £130,000, and a modern detached house requiring improvement in Bradway which sold for £280,000.
