The participants started the run in a sea of foam, before making their way through four other coloured ‘bubble stations’ along the route.
And while the weather was not as warm today as it has been earlier in the week, the prospect of running through a four-foot-high outdoor bubble bath did not deter the runners from taking on the challenge for charity.
The Bubble Rush is a course made up of two laps of 2.5km, meaning runners went through eac bubble station twice.
And all money raised from ticket sales went towards a good cause, helping to fund Paces – a Sheffield-based charity that supports adults and children living with cerebral palsy and motor disorders.
