First Date viewers in shock as Rotherham pair admit they’ve met and had sex before
Fans of TV dating show First Dates were left shocked – when two men from Rotherham were matched up – only to reveal they already knew each other and had had sex on many occasions.
Viewers of the Channel 4 show saw tattooed assistant cafe owner Alan looking for love on the programme, where contestants meet up in a restaurant in front of the cameras in a bid to find a relationship.
But as soon as his date Stephen, a casino owner, walked in, it was revealed that the pair were already ‘friends with benefits' and had shared a bed numerous times.
Alan, 32, and Stephen, 36, collapsed into giggles in front of host Fred Sirieix and when he asked if the pair knew each other, Stephen replied: “Know him? I’ve s****** him!”
Later Stephen phoned his friend to tell him about his date admitting they had had a casual sexual relationship for a number of years.
Later in the show they admitted to doing "a lot of sexual stuff with each other".
They then went into great detail about their sex life together, including the fact that they "didn't really kiss" when they were getting down to business.
And it seemed they knew each other so well that they had even spent a Christmas Day together.
Viewers couldn't get over the fact that the pair knew each other so intimately, with one tweeting: "These guys that know each other on First Dates are killing me."
Speaking about the pair's sexual exploits, this fan tweeted: "Flipping hell xrated #FirstDates no holding back! #YOLO"
While this viewer said: "I love these guys on #firstdates. They’ve already sh***d and get straight down to the sex talk!"
But although Stephen was keen to start something up with Alan, the latter decided they were better off as friends.
Stephen also revealed how surviving Covid-19 last year had led him to re-evaluate his life and that he was now looking to settle down while Alan announced he was looking for a ‘hus-bear’, “a big man with a belly and t***”
They later shared a cheeky clip of themselves in bed together - but they insisted they were "still just mates".
