Film crews spotted in Sheffield and Daniel Craig could be on set
Film crews spotted in Sheffield have sparked speculation they could be there for a film or TV production starring Daniel Craig.
Film crews have been seen arriving in Sheffield and whilst it is unknown what they are filming, rumours circulating say that Daniel Craig is on set.
Trailers and props could be seen at the Arts Tower and have prompted theories about what they could be filming.
People in scrubs were spotted by one person in the area, but he didn’t see anyone resembling Daniel Craig.
He said: “There were people in scrubs weirdly, no Daniel Craig that I saw.”
The film star is said to be working on Knives Out 2 and will be returning in the lead role as Benoit Blanc.
Knives Out two was officially given the go-ahead by production company Lionsgate in February 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic prevented filming from starting.
In March this year, it was reported that Netflix had bought the rights to two Knives Out sequels for over £400 million, with filming set to commence on June 28, 2021.
Sources claimed the bond star was due to arrive in Sheffield on Friday, with filming starting on Saturday.
The English actor stars in the 25th bond film, No Time To Die, which will release later this year after being delayed due to the pandemic.
