Mamma Mia! and Bohemian Rhapsody will be screened at Doncaster's Keepmoat Stadium.

“An amazing outdoor cinema experience at the Keepmoat Stadium in Doncaster with a showing of the fantastic Bohemian Rhapsody.

“Watch Bohemian Rhapsody on a giant cinema screen under the stars and choose between sitting in the stands or bring your own seating and sit on the pitch.”

Mamma Mia! will be screened on May 28 with gates opening at 8pm for a 9.30pm screening.

The PG film will start shortly after sunset – and picnics are welcome, although no glass is allowed and alcohol must be purchased on-site.

Hot food and snacks available and there will be an on-site bar.

Bohemian Rhapsody will be screened the following night, May 29, at the same time.

The film is 12A and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Mamma Mia!, which dates from 2008, is based on the 1999 musical of the same name and features Pierce Brosnan, Dominic Cooper, Colin Firth, Meryl Streep and Julie Walters and follows a young bride-to-be who invites three men to her upcoming wedding, each one with the possibility of being her father, set to the music of Abba.

Bohemian Rhapsody, which hit cinemas in 2018, tells the story of Freddie Mercury and Queen and stars Rami Malek, Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joe Mazzello, Aidan Gillen, Tom Hollander, Allen Leech, and Mike Myers.

The film received numerous accolades, including four wins at the 91st Academy Awards for Best Actor (Malek), Best Film Editing, Best Sound Editing and Best Sound Mixing; it was also nominated for Best Picture.
