Deliveroo reveals the most popular takeaway and dish in Sheffield this year

With the rise in popularity of delivery apps, we have hundreds of options to chose from in Sheffield.

From burritos to fried chicken, doughnuts and ice cream, you can have almost any cuisine delivered to your home or office, but what is Sheffield’s takeaway of choice?

Delivery app Deliveroo has revealed the most ordered dishes in UK cities – and pizza tops the charts in Sheffield.

Specifically, the Diavola Pizza from Proove topped the lot as the most popular dish to order among punters in Sheffield in 2019, according to the food delivery giants.

Dishes from national chains such as KFC, Five Guys and Subway also proved popular.

Independent restaurant Proove has branches in Broomhill, Centretainment and West Didsbury in Manchester.

The Diavola Pizza is a feast of Nduja, fennel salami, chillies, San Marzano D.O.P. tomatoes, and Fior di Latte mozzarella.

The poké signature super protéiné from Hawaiian restaurant Pokawa in Paris, France, proved to be the most popular dish ordered around the world this year.
