Keith Bush, aged 62, of Nether Edge, bought the ‘stonebaked and hand stretched’ spicy beef pizza for £3 from Waitrose on Ecclesall Road on Tuesday, December 8.
However, when he came to eat it later that night, a metal object about an inch long and 10-12 millimeters wide - with a centimetre long screw through the side of it - curtailed his enjoyment.

Hide AdKeith has since lost his two front teeth on the bottom of his jaw and says he hasn't been able to eat properly for a week.
He has also complained to the retailer about the dangerous incident and intends to get legal advice on accessing compensation for his dental costs, distress, pain and suffering.
He said: “I couldn't believe it. The object was right in the centre of the pizza where I took my first bite.
“I had a dental appointment earlier this week to assess the damage and I think at least four of my teeth will need removing.
“I’ll be seeing my solicitor.”

“My teeth are secondary really,” he said. “If I’d have swallowed it I could have had serious internal injuries - it could have even killed me.
“I went into the shop again to tell them what had happened and they offered me a different pizza. An expensive Pizza Express one. But I’ve gone right off them now.
“The only thing I want now is two new front teeth.”
Keith has since raised the issue with Waitrose customer services who say they are investigating his complaint.
