Coronavirus fears force Doncaster performers to postpone three 70th anniversary concerts
Concerns surrounding the outbreak of the coronavirus have forced Doncaster performers to postpone three concerts during their 70th anniversary year.
Doncaster Wheatsheaf Singers have opted to postpone the three concerts which had been scheduled for March 21 and 28 and May 2 as a precaution to contain any risk of the virus spreading.
The concerts include: a joint performance with Scunthorpe Male Voice Choir, at St. Peter's Church, Warmsworth, on March 21; a joint concert with Co-op Scunthorpe Junior Choir, at Froddingham, on March 28; and a joint concert with Anston Male Voice Choir, at South Anston, on May 2.
It is hoped the concerts will be re-arranged for new dates as soon as the position is clearer concerning the containment of the coronavirus.
The Doncaster Wheatsheaf Singers will keep those concerned informed about any future concerts and new dates for the postponed performances.
