Community health services invite you to their fresh air fayre in Rotherham

Community health services run by The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust are hosting an open air fayre to promote the diverse range of services the NHS has to offer the people of Rotherham.

Health care professionals from a number of services, including Diabetes, Ear Care and Audiology, Heart Failure, Speech and Language Therapy, Respiratory, Nutrition and Dietetics and District Nursing, amongst others, will be available to showcase what their service has to offer and to answer any questions.

Dr Richard Jenkins, interim Chief Executive of The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, said: “People often think about hospitals and the care provided within them, but we have so much more to offer. The fresh air fayre is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about what services are available to the people of Rotherham and how to access them.

“Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, the main focus of attention has been on hospitals across the country. Meanwhile our community-based colleagues have continued to deliver high quality patient care on our other sites across the Borough, and in people’s own homes.”

The fresh air fayre will be held outside BreathingSpace on Badsley Moor Lane on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 between 2pm and 4pm, and is open to everyone. Measures will be in place to ensure the fayre is Covid-secure.
