And top of the list – right after organising messages from family and friends – is finding Erin the perfect birthday present: in this case, a t-shirt from Tramlines 2018.

The ten-year-old has been attending the city’s biggest music festival with her family since she was seven, and collecting the commemorative t-shirts each year, but there’s just one missing from her collection.

“We couldn’t get one in 2018, they’d all sold out,” says mum Helen, aged 42.

“We tried everything, and have been keeping our eyes peeled on eBay and social media ever since, but never managed to track one down.

“I decided that one thing that would make her 11th birthday in lockdown absolutely brilliant is finding the missing t-shirt – come on people of Sheffield!”

Helen did find one seemingly kindhearted person on a Tramlines forum recently who had a 2018 shirt he said he would be happy to sell – but he deleted his Facebook profile and disappeared, after pocketing Helen’s cash payment.

“Sheffielders are wonderful people – this one man aside – and so I’m reaching out to them now to help make my daughter’s lockdown birthday a little brighter.

“She’s missed out on the end of her final primary school year – no leavers party, no chance to say a proper goodbye to friends she’s grown up with – and she’s such a good kid, she really deserves this.

“If anybody has a shirt from this year they’d be happy to sell – ideally a small adult sized one, or a large youth shirt – I’d love to hear from them.”
