Laura is a volunteer with Sheffield charity Sheffcare, the organisation that operates a chain of ten residential care homes across the city.
The Hillsborough based full time mum has been spending time at the charity’s Burnt Tree Croft home for the past three years and has asked family and friends to use the money they might have spent on a birthday card to donate to the home instead.
Laura has already raised a fantastic £405, easily passing her original target of £40.
