The funny clip, which has been viewed more than 200,000 times, shows two friends walking along Arundel Gate in Sheffield when they encounter the Sainsbury’s Local supermarket, which is located at the bottom of St Paul’s Tower, the city’s tallest building.

“Jamie,” shouts a voice, “that’s got to be the biggest Sainsbury’s I’ve ever seen in my life!” as the camera scans up the 32-floor, 331ft building.

Of course, the store only occupies the ground floor, while the rest of the building, also known as City Lofts, is a residential development.

The video was shared on video sharing website Tik Tok and then on Twitter, being retweeted more than 2,000 times and liked more than 14,500.

And viewers were in hysterics at user Joe Rose’s video clip and apparent blunder about the size of the store.

One wrote: “HAHAHAHAH why is this the funniest thing I’ve ever seen ahhahahahaha,” and another added: “this is so funny.”

Completed in 2010, the scheme consists of a 32-storey tower called St Paul's Tower, along with a 9-storey block called St Paul's View, linked at the bottom by one floor of retail space.

The tower became the tallest building in Sheffield at its completion, overtaking the University of Sheffield Arts Tower by 23 metres (75 ft).
