BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker has praised his local post office workers in Sheffield

“Who has gone above and beyond this year?” he said.

"For me it’s our local team at the post office here in Sheffield, Sara, Kathy, Elaine and Mark, who are brilliant and are always kind and considerate even though they’ve got parcels up to their ears at the moment.

"That’s who I would nominate but who would you nominate?”

His comments come after a delivery driver shared a video of Royal Mail’s Sheffield depot showing how it was so full he was unable to unload his drop-off.

People can make their nominations by tweeting @BBCBreakfast and using the hashtage #BBCBreakfastHeroes.
