'A mix of apprehension and excitement' as Sheffield salon prepares to reopen on July 4
The staff at Top Salon on Barnsley Road in Sheffield are busy with preparations to reopen their doors on July 4.
Owner Kandy Renshaw admits she feels apprehension, but says she is excited to get back to work and see all her clients.
However, it’s a different world – requiring hand sanitiser on arrival, appointments only, all clients to come alone, mandatory face masks, fewer chairs, no close-up work and partition screens.
“I don’t think things will be normal for a while,” says Kandy.
