People urged to get their hands dirty at heath reserve

Have your say

Sheffield’s Wharncliffe Heath Nature Reserve is inviting people to a habitat regeneration workshop.

Participants will get the chance to cut bracken and create deadwood habitats.

All are welcome at Sunday’s event, from 11am to 4pm, and tools will be provided. People should meet at the River Don bridge, Station Road, Deepcar. Under-14s must be accompanied by an adult.
