The majority of dog owners are responsible, the ones you describe are a minority.
I walk my dogs at Manvers Lake and I had to ask for more bins, as there was only one.
When we finally got some more rubbish bins installed, they don’t get emptied very often and end up overflowing.
The biggest problem with litter being left anywhere is people. I walk a number of miles a week and more on holidays. The amount of human waste – cans, bottles, food containers etc – is unbelievable.
That is where your energy should be focused, educating human beings.
If people don’t want to be near dogs, then go to places where they can’t go.
