Pension age for women

I don't know if any of your readers, especially women born in the 1950s, are aware of a group called Women Against State Pension Inequality or WASPI for short.

They have formed this group to lobby parliament about the state pension age rising twice for women.

My own age was 60 then rose to 64 and has again risen to 66!

This affects thousands of women who might not even know it until they try to claim their pension.

The Government say they have written to every women this concerns, but I have yet to find one who has had the letter.

All women who think it may concern them should look WASPI up either on Facebook or their own web page and you will be able to find your own local group.

There will be a large gathering outside Westminster on June 29. All women will be either wearing the WASPI T-shirt or sash.

They have even got their own choir to sing a song written by one of the original founders.

Please join and download the petition which will be handed in.

Why should we have to put up with our pension ages rising not just once, but twice?
