Pedestrians not bus pasengers

Have your say

I FULLY appreciate why a new pedestrian crossing has been made near the railway bridge on Archer Road, in Sheffield.

But why is the Belisha signpost only inches from the bus stop post?

Twice last week I stopped before the crossing as there were two pedestrians waiting to cross - or so it seemed, but no. They were bus passengers awaiting a bus.

They very politely waved their arms to indicate that I could proceed.

But suppose they had been pedestrians with the appearance of bus passengers. What then?

And in these days of economic strife, they could have put them on the same post.

They are so close together.
