Peak District plan roadshows in Sheffield

Have your say

a SERIES of roadshows is to be held to give members of the public the chance to air their views on a masterplan for the Sheffield Moors area of the Peak District.

The 15-year plan has been drafted by the Sheffield Moors Partnership and includes a vision for a better connected rights of way network and habitat restoration work.

Sheffield Moors covers 21 square miles including North Lees and Stanage, Burbage, Houndkirk and Hathersage Moors, Blacka Moor, Wyming Brook, Redmires, Longshaw, and Eastern Moors.

Rita Whitcomb, SMP Project Officer, said: “We’re taking the plan out on the road as we want to know if we have got it right and if people share our vision.”
