The warning came after PCSOs attended a meeting at the club to discuss ongoing issues they are having with young people on their land.

Last Friday, approximately 60 young people congregated, drinking alcohol, lighting fires and taking nitrous oxide.

The photographs shared by the club show how the group left the area after their 'party'.

A spokesperson for the Sheffield West policing team said: "Not only is this private land it is disrespectful to treat the countryside with such disregard.

"This is not acceptable and anyone caught on the golf course by the police will be dealt with accordingly."

"Please respect the area in which you live."
