Party poopers run off geese

There shouldn't be that many around.

The borough council has been scaring them away with specially trained gundogs because their poop is spoiling the park.

The first session scared off 70 Canada Geese and only a few came back three hours later. And a second round-up found only a few geese left.

"It's nice to be able to walk across the grass without being covered in mess," says a council spokesman.

No geese are harmed during the operation. They just get hassled so much they give up and fly away.
